Elevate's mission is to deliver elegantly conceived buildings driven by in-depth research and exploration into the brief, regardless of scale or sector. They set themselves apart by forging a close working relationship with their clients, working hard to fully understand the narrative of a project, whether that may be creation of a new living space, workspace, home, community or company HQ.
Elevate doesn't subscribe to a single design language or house style - instead preferring to tailor individual responses, which are rooted in and respond to context, while always being aware of their social and environmental responsibility and conscious of their role in the use and re-use of space in our cities.
Elevate Director, Chris graduated from the Liverpool School of Art in 2010, immediately joining Lewandowski Architects in Windsor to work within in the residential, retail and education sectors for clients including Sainsbury's, Eton College and Royal Holloway University. Returning to his native North West in 2013, Chris then joined JM Architects in Manchester and latterly AHR where he lead various education, commercial, hospitality, healthcare and housing projects.
In response to clients' growing demands for a responsive, collaborative approach to inventive development in Manchester, Chris set up Elevate in 2016 and continues to grow and develop his passion for challenging projects, sustainability, technology and inventiveness, along with refining his comprehensive expertise in adaptive re-use. Chris’s ability and enjoyment in working at both micro- and macro-levels was a key driver in setting up and developing Elevate, and is what continues to drive him to manage multi-scale projects across multiple sectors.
